High Velocity Systems
High Velocity Heating & Cooling Systems are basically Forced Air systems utilizing
high-velocity airflow and small 2" diameter supply outlets. These systems distribute
conditioned air by means of flexible, pre-insulated, small diameter tubing, which
can be fed through wall cavities and around obstructions. Each outlet includes a
sound attenuation connector that absorbs system, and velocity generated noise and
provide a quiet comfort system.
These Heating and Cooling systems are designed to fit in structures that have space
constraints or other special requirements. In many cases this type of system is
used because they do not require as much structural modifications to hide the Heating
& Cooling duct System.
High Velocity Systems also provide greater humidity removal than conventional Cooling
Systems, creating a more comfortable environment.
The system operates by using a single cabinet blower and coil air handler that is
designed to operate at much higher air velocity & pressures with lower overall
air flow than conventional systems, and are desighed to fit in tight spaces while
providing efficient Cooling and Heating.
Air is delivered into the room by small round outlets installed in the ceiling,
floor, or wall which provide quiet delivery of high velocity air to the conditioned
space.
The standard Supply Outlet comes in white plastic which can be painted to match
the surface in which they are installed. They are also available in a variety of
other colors and materials including Black, Brass, Chrome, and Wood which can be
stained as desired.
